FAQ

Do you have a preferred vendor list?

Of course I do! I’ve been building this list for over 5 years and am honored to be able to work alongside some of the best vendors in the industry. For each client, I put together a custom version that meets your specific set of priorities and preferences. I make sure to only show you vendors that mesh with your vision.

What is your service area?

I service the entire New England region. Daylynn Designs is based on Cape Cod, MA but has experience in Boston and beyond. I am also willing to travel for the perfect opportunity to showcase my planning + design talents!

How many events do you book per year?

In order to ensure that you are completely impressed by your Daylynn Designs’ experience, I restrict the number of events I book throughout the year.  It’s my promise to you that you will always feel supported.  Your design vision, budget and event needs are my priority, and that is something I find easy to stand by throughout the planning process. I’m totally a quality over quantity type of gal. That’s how I am in my personal life so it’s a natural fit for my business structure as well.

Do you have a team that assists you on day of?

Yep, I just don’t feel comfortable any other way! I can’t be in two places at once so having an assistant that I trust on hand for the day helps tremendously with: efficiency, communication and managing multiple locations. For larger scale events, I will often have 2-3 assistants on site. My lead assistants all have 5+ years of experience in the industry.

How far in advance should I reach out?

For full service event planning and design a year is always the best rule of thumb! However, I have planned full service events on a 3-month timeline. Regardless of what people have told you is a “proper” timeframe, Ill be able to share my expert opinion. Once you’re in my inbox, we can have an honest chat about wether or not I can fit you into my current calendar.

How did you get the name of your business?

Daylynn Designs is a bit of a namesake. It came from pairing my middle and last names together Day + Lynn. I’ve always liked the way that they sound when spoken together so Daylynn Designs felt like a natural fit.
